How to Get Here
- From Dominical: Take Costanera Sur highway south for 4 kilometers. Turn left on the sign that says "Pacific Edge Road". Do not go through the manned entrance. Then, a 2-minute drive on a gently sloping gravel road will take you to the house. Casa Mar y Luna is the fourth house on the right.
- From Quepos: Take Costanera Sur highway south for 40 kilometers. You will reach Dominical. Do not turn right on to the town, but keep going straight on the highway for 4 more kilometers. Turn left on the sign that says "Pacific Edge Road". Then, a 2-minute drive on a gently sloping gravel road will take you to the house. Casa Mar y Luna is the fourth house on the right.
- From Palmar Sur: Take Costanera Sur highway north for about 50 kilometers. Turn right on the sign that says "Pacific Edge Road". Then, a 2-minute drive on a gently sloping gravel road will take you to the house. Casa Mar y Luna is the fourth house on the right.
How to Get to Casa Mar y Luna from San Jose 
- By Car Route 1: From San Jose to San Isidro de El General (180km, or 3 hours, part of it is a high altitude curvy mountain road), then from San Isidro to Dominical (another 30km or 1 hour), then Dominical to Casa Mar y Luna, 5 minutes.
- By Car Route 2: From San Jose to Quepos via "El Aguacate", then from Quepos to Dominical, then from Dominical to Casa Mar y Luna.
- By Airplane and Car Route 1: San Jose - Quepos by domestic flight, then Quepos - Dominical - Casa Mar y Luna by taxi or rental car.
- By Airplane and Car Route 2: San Jose - Palmar Sur by Domestic Flight, then Palmar Sur - Casa Mar y Luna by taxi or rental car.
A reminder: The nearest international airport is Juan Santamaria International Airport, located 10km west of San Jose in Alajuela (airport code SJO). The only other international airport in Costa Rica is Daniel Oduber in Liberia, Guanacaste, which is farther up north. You can certainly fly into Liberia from the US or Canada and then take another flight to Quepos or Palmar Sur, which are domestic airports served by Nature Air and Sansa.
